What Happened to Spirit of the Rockies??
If you have been looking for Spirit of the Rockies in its Tanoa location, you will have no doubt noticed that it is no longer there. We are excited to announce that it has been moved to Buchanan Park, along the path just south of the two new sculptures we placed in Bergen Park in June. You may have also seen it sparkling in the sun on its grassy bluff as you drive along Bergen Parkway. In addition to a new site for this special sculpture, Evergreen Newcomers and Neighbors have placed a bench opposite the sculpture so that people can stop and appreciate the view. Please visit this dramatic sculpture and accompanying bench in their new hilltop locations.
2021-2022 Sculpture Walk
We had a beautiful day to install 10 new sculptures for our annual Sculpture Walk. We thank all the volunteers and artists who coordinated and handled the deinstallation of last year's pieces and installation of the new art. We were sorry to say goodbye to the beautiful sculptures that, because of Covid, were with us for two years - but gratefully welcome the new art that will inspire us until next June. Thanks also to all the donors who make this possible.

We are pleased to announce that two of our Sculpture Walk pieces - Toro! Jr and Thoughtful Minds have been located at Center for the Arts Evergreen - a new location for us this year. You can't miss them out in front of the CAE building. Check out Change at Buchanan Ponds, Wind Swept at the Post Office, and six new sculptures in downtown Evergreen. Bugling Elk along Meadow Drive and Red Rover at Lakepoint Center will be with us for one more year in response to popular demand.

New Sculpture Trail Maps are available at local businesses or from the Chamber of Commerce, or click HERE for an online version.
Spirit of Giving at Mount Evans Home Health Care & Hospice
The newest addition to our collection of permanent sculptures, Spirit of Giving, was dedicated on June 25 at a well-attended event hosted by Mount Evans Hospice. This sculpture embodies the strong spirit of community and volunteerism of the late Susan Stearns, and all who give of themselves on behalf of others. We thank all the volunteers from Sculpture Evergreen and Mount Evans who collaborated on this joint effort, and those whose contributions funded this acquisition. Special thanks to the following major donors:

Susan and Roy Beaton
Connie and Larry Chatfield
Trudy and Jim Chiddix
Darleen and Marvin Geisness
Bob Gibbs

We would also like to thank Dave Thomas at Sundance Gardens for the beautiful landscaping of the site.
